New blog theme

Design, Innovation, Personal

As you can see if you are visiting this blog in a regular browser I have updated the design. The last time I spent some time on the design was more than a year ago and recently I received a few friendly suggestions that maybe it was time for a change.

The design you see here is based on a very popular Wordpress theme titled “Bluebird” designed by Randa Clay. I only changed some colors and the header image.

Because of Twitter and TwitterMail I spend a lot more time micro blogging than writing regular, and longer, post here. But that doesn’t mean I’m planning to stop my blogging here!

Very cool. Nice and clean, which I like!

  2. Joop says:

I like it, the theme looks crispy clean and fun.

  3. Paul says:

Sorry, I don’t like it. The previous version had a better readability and overview.

I have to view the source code to read your complete posting. It stops after:

“Because of Twitter and TwitterMail I spend a lot more time micro blogging than”

Tested with IE6 and Firefox 2.

  5. Hi Jules, I noticed the same thing. I am also testing Wordpress for iPhone and it looks like something went wrong with that. I wrote a first draft there and then finished my draft on my computer. Then I saved it and it published the draft from the iPhone app. Frustrating…

  6. Ok, didn’t quite like the new font type so changed it back to the font I used for the previous design. This one reads better…
