IPAN Twitter event

February 4th, 2008

Tomorrow we are discussing Twitter at IPAN. If you are interested in Twitter do come over to listen at a few influential Twitter users talk about what it is and how it makes the world a better place.

Is Twitter just the latest craze or a revolutionary new way of communicating and social interaction?

Guido van Nispen will be our moderator and I will be in a panel together with several leading Twitteratzi including Erwin Blom.

There will also be live demos of TwitterMail.com and Mobypicture.com AND Babl.nl.

Location: Flex Bar Amsterdam
Time: 20:00

If you are not a member of IPAN you will have to pay something at the door to get it. If you display your Twitter name visibly on your chest you can get in for free.

    Mobypicture will enable participants/attendees to this event to make a live coverage on several blogs/websites including Flickr and Dutchcowboys.nl.

    If your attending the event and want to join in, please register at Mobypicture and check the Twitter IPAN box on the Your Account page.

    Your postings will automatically get the right (hash)tags for the Backchannel and will appear on the big screen.

    As always the BackChannel is happily provided by BackChannel Services, an invention of @RoelandP Inspiring Media Experience Ltd.

    3 ways to participate & appear on the BackChannel @ IPAN:

    1. Post your comments on twitter with the #IPAN prefix
    2. Post your comments in the jaiku IPAN channel (http://jaiku.com/channel/IPAN)
    3. SMS “#IPAN + your comment” to 3555 (costs 35 ct.)
