Sync BlackBerry + Google Calendar
Keeping my Blackberry synced with my mac has been a constant struggle for years now. I tried several software solutions and often destroyed my calendar. Right now there is one appointment in my calendar that accidently got itself duplicated 3000 times. I can’t go to that week or iCal crashes. I can’t delete them either because that also crashes iCal. I could delete all older events but then I lose everything. So I just ignore it.
Today Google announced something that might help: BlackBerry Sync for Google Calendar
I installed it and it seems to work fine, so far. Now I have to think of a way to sync Google Calendar with iCal and then I am Synced all over the place. Spanning Sync should do the trick but that is pretty expensive with a $25 one-year subscription or a $65 one-time purchase.
If you have a Blackberry just surf to this link and you can install the application right away:

Blackberry and Apple can be a pain in the ass. However you can try The Missing Sync from Markspace.com which works really great (even with Leopard).
It’s syncs very nice with my iCal, Address book, Tasks, etc. And for notes you get a desktop notepad application which is perfect for small notetaking.
Off course it’s not wireless syncing but when you use only one Mac I highly recommend it.

I have a windows mobile device and use OggSync… to sync with Google. On their site they also explain a complicated way to even sync with iPhone and iPod. Don’t know if this will come in handy because it’s all outlook and windows related.

Syncing iCal and GCal? How about Plaxo? It’ll do that and then some.

I’m using Plaxo to sync my Google calender with Ical on my Mac, works great. If you also have a Windows machine (maybe at work :-) ) you can also sync with Outlook and your up-to-date wherever you go! I really like it and it works like it should. I do the same with my addressbook, sync it with Plaxo and Outlook and you have your addresses wherever you are (Online, Mac, PC).
