Tariq come over from Japan on the morning of the conference. He only slept two hours but was in a great mood. The last time I saw him he was on his way to the Jimmy Woo close to midnight.

Patrick told me he later returned to the Odeon and satyed until 6 in the morning dancing and drinking.

Last year Netvibes did a showcase as a Promising European Start-up. They might still be a start-up but this year Tariq spoke about the future of the Web and Netvibes as a keynote speaker. I wonder if next year he will have sold Netvibes and will be there as an investor and sponsor.  I wouldn’t be surprised…

Oh, and Tariq won an Award as most interesting Web Celeb at the Next Web Awards.
