Get As Many Joost.com Invitations As You Want…
A few days ago I posted that I now had 999 invitations to sent. Since then that post has received 22 comments and I have personally invited 20 people. Since there seems to be great interest I have decided to just post my own Joost Account details so you can go in there and invite yourself AND your friends if you want.
First, download the application here:
Then use my account data to log in:
Username: markies
Password: 123456
Then start the application, log in, click on the ‘My Joost’ area on the right and invite yourself and your friends. Don’t forget to log out and use your personal invitation.

Don’t abuse my trust please but do invite up to 10 friends and then log out. I wonder how long it takes to go through those 979 invites or my account to become suspended.

Thanks! I downloaded Joost and then was disappointed it was only a Mac-Intel app.
Oh well, then I’ll have to wait a few years until I need to ditch my 12″ PB G4 :)
Yes, I forget to mention that! The Mac version is MacBook Pro only…

I logged in , but it seems Joost changed the software ,
you need your username to login , not your email,
your user is markies …
It than asked to fill in your personal details …

Thanks for this opportunity. I invited myself and it worked out. I hope that I did not unintentionally change your birthdate in the profile, since I was always logged back onto your account in the software without being able to change it. By following the directions at the url beneath I was able to get out of your account in the software: http://www.joost.com/forums/p/.....-computer/

Hey, thanks! I also had to enter in a birth date for you, so I put in 1975, congratulations! You have another new birthyear.
For other users, you’ll need to reset your user account, go to the “run” command under the start menu and type (all on one line):
“C:\Program Files\Joost\xulrunner\tvprunner.exe” “C:\Program Files\Joost\application.ini” -p
Delete the default profile and create a new one, then the next time you start joost, you will be prompted to set your username, just a create a new one using the email where you received your boost invite.

On a Mac, just go to ~/Library/Application Support/ and delete the Joost folder to reset the log-in information.
To convert your email address into a user name, there’s a “Get User” button in the lower left corner of the sign-in window.
All in all, I don’t like it. Since I am not a person that watches a lot TV, I am looking for cinema-type movies. The content on Joost just isn’t too stunning right now.

If the password doesn’t seem to work let me know as soon as possible. I’ll reset it so you can use it again. Just did so it should work again now…
Thanks a million, Boris. I’ve been trying to find an invitation for a few weeks not. But I fear that I’m still logged in under your name. I followed the change profile instructions but hit a road block as my invite email didn’t contain a user name or, more importantly, a password to get in. It only had a link to the download site where your instructions sent me in the first place. Any ideas?

Yes it’s working. It’s a good programme, but just a little bit short in channels. That will grow in the next months i think

It took me a while to figure out how to log out and such…
In your link it says:
Type
xulrunner\tvprunner.exe application.ini -p
Hit enter takes awhile to load.
Once open uncheck Don’t Ask at Startup.(Make sure to do this part.)
Now Click Rename Profile and rename it to what you want i.e profile user name.
Next click Create Profile –> Next
Under Enter new profile name change it to what you want it to be i.e Children’s Profile.
(If you what you can change the Hard drive to a 2nd Hard drive if you don’t have room on your 1st hard drive by clicking Choose Folder.)
Click Finish
But you can forget all about that… after
Type
xulrunner\tvprunner.exe application.ini -p
Hit enter takes awhile to load.
or
cd \xulrunner
tvprunner.exe ..\application.ini -p
just remove the default profile and at startup it asks you again to create a new username and such…

Hmm, seems I can’t invite my self. The website is spitting out 500 errors all over :(
Don’t panic! The Joost.com server is just being upgraded. Everything should be back to normal in a few minutes. Try again then…
