Live at the Balie…
In about an hour there is going to be a public discussion here in ‘de Balie’. The other speakers are Ine Poppe, Tonie van Ringelestijn, Trebor Schultz, me and Joop Laan.
Mark Deuze wil join us from SF via iChat. The evening is sold out. Not bad for a saturday evening.
I hope I can keep awake because I took all the drugs I could find to get me through the evening. My ears still hurt and I feel feverish.
UPDATE: here are a few links to blogs and photos from the event:

Would have loved to be there, but alas.
Have fun!
good luck!
So I watched the whole discussion from home (streaming video feed). I think you did fine, despite the fever. Loved your “capitalist view“ in contrast to the sometimes slightly “us against them big corporations“ opinions.
That said, I couldn’t concentrate too well, wrote my fist blog entry since a month. All because I felt the need to lookup Joop Laan on LinkedIn (not found there) and I came across this interesting question: Why will the Semantic Web fail?
First, I think it will not (read my blog), but then: this just defines Web 2.0 for me. Watching a stream, looking up information and finding related information to comment on.
Are there videos of this discussion available to watch?
Bram: it was streamed live but apparently not recorded.
