Millionaires and Minionaires?
At the Sync.nl launch was introduced to Wammes Witkop. Wammes is the founder of PC-Active, a Dutch PC magazine which he sold recently. He is now a Freelance writer/journalist and an interesting person to talk to.
One of the things he told me was that he recently met with a few ‘Minionaires’…
We were in a crowded space so at first I thought I didn’t hear it right so I asked him to repeat that and then he explained:
“They are Minionaires. They sold their company for millions but something went wrong and now they are in dept for millions”
I sold my company for millions once too and then something went wrong and I lost all my money so I like the term!
Sometimes I jokingly sing this song:
