Check this video by Spunk.nl. They partycrashed the Web2.0 awards party and made a funny video. They even interviewed Loïs!
Spunk — Incest 2.0
And no, the title doesn’t relate to Loïs!

My first Macintosh (Apple Mac Plus ED) had 2 diskdrives and 2.5 MB internal memory. It was considered a luxury because the Macs in school had only one disk drive and 1 MB internal memory.
After two years I bought a 40 MB removable Harddisk. I figured I would never buy another Harddisk because I could always buy extra cartridges.
Another 2 years later I bought the Iomega Zip drive which offered 100mb per disk cartridge.
The next Harddisk had 500 MB on it and I used it as a portable Mac. It contained my important files and I just hooked it up to the computers I had at home and in the office.
A few months ago I bought a Terrabyte disk. It cost me €1000. I use it at home for backups and DVD storage. I only have 50 Gigabyte left.
In September 1956 IBM launched the 305 RAMAC, the first computer with a hard disk drive (HDD). The HDD weighed over a ton and stored 5MB of data. You can see it in the photo here.
My first mac had a Motorola 68000 CPU running at 8 MHz. My current MacBook pro has a 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.
Fortunately the race isn’t over. I just found out that Moore’s Law has been rescuscitated by a new Intel Chip Technology.
How much longer will it be before I own a Petabyte (1000 Terra) Harddisk? According to Moore’s Law it should take only a few years…

It was a great evening! You can find a few photos on Flickr by Tonie and a post on BlueAce about who won.
After the ceremony we went to Patricks house and played poker until 4 in the morning. I won 40 euros.
Then I had to wake up at 7:30 because the kids woke up.

Yep, just a few more hours and the ceremony starts. We are having pancakes with the children near my house now. If you want to join us check the Dutch Web2.0awards website (I don’t know how to add a link to a mobile post yet.)

Clemens Kogler. It is beautiful and I watched it with my mouth open.
I haven’t used Powerpoint (or Keynote) for years now and try to just tell stories when I have to do a presentation but if I could only make something like this…
Watch Le Grand Content or read about the it here: Clemens Kogler.
