Hi Tony; It seems to be a Blackberry OS problem. There is a newer version which does offer this functionality but not all operators offer it yet.

I am also unable to attach a photo to an email, as I can't find the option. I am on the Rogers network.

Hi Mike, Vodafone told me that it was a Blackberry Software problem. If you are able to send photos via email on Congular that would mean that it isn't a software problem but a vendor problem after all.

How did you attach thew photo to your email? My menu, when I'm writing an email. only hows the option to attache an address. When I'm in photo mode I can only select 'send as MMS' or 'Send Using Bluetooth'.

I just took a photo with my BlackBerry Pearl, opened up an e-mail message, attached the photo and sent it to myself -- and received it.

I'm on Cingular -- photo attachments work fine.

Thanks Yme, I checked all of the applications in telecommunications but none of them seem to offer the solution I'm hoping for. But I'm not giving up! There MUST be a solution somewhere...

I'm testing a Pearl as well at the moment and will try some third party apps this weekend. Did you try one of <a href="http://www.handango.com/SoftwareCatalog.jsp?jid=7XXX6DED418DA88D233E4598XX4FX9F8&osId=946&siteId=1&N=4294917542&N=4294917542&Ntt=email&Ntk=All&Nty=1" rel="nofollow">those</a>already? I'm sure email with attachment should be possible when you do not use to standard RIM client.
