		<description>Yes, from a RSS/news/email perspective it sure beats wi-fi. When i'm traveling the only thing i do is look up some news/email/rss on my phone so it doesn't matter that the speed is a bit low.

I never use my phone as a modem because i can't hook it up to my mac (it's a windows mobile device.. it can sync contact and calenders though) and i wouldn't use it on my pc laptop because you would need to hook it up via a very clumsy usb cable (damn cables AGAIN) to connect it. Although i am a geek, i don't have an urge to look like one :). Bluetooth seems perfect.</description>

You are right that UMTS or Egde is probably slower than Wi-Fi.</description>
