My First Vibrator!
Last week I (and Patrick too) received the Gilette Fusion from Buzzer.nl. They give away products to people so they will tell their friends about it. This is the first time I joined a Buzzer campaign since I met the founder, Willem Sodderland, of Buzzer.nl two years ago during an IPAN event.
The product I am testing is a vibrator that shaves shaving set that vibrates. Gilette also provides its testers/buzzers with shaving creme and after shave balm.
You are free to say whatever you want about the product so I was planning to be a critical as I could be. I know that Gilette bought Duracell in 1996 and I always imagined the Gilete owners in a brainstorm going something like this:
CEO: Ok, guys, how the hell are we going to combine our wet shaving tools with those damn Duracell batteries…
Manager: We could add a radio?
CEO: …
Manager: A Flashlight?
CEO: …
Manager: Remote Control?
CEO: …
Manager: How about a vibrator!?
CEO (annoyed): Yeah right.
Manager (blushing): …
Both: …
CEO: You know, you might have something there…
And that is how we got the Gilette Fusion Power!
As you can understand I wasn’t too enthousiastic about the prospect of shaving myself with a vibrator. But I have used it 5 times now and it actually works! It feels great (not THAT great, you pervert) and gives me a smooth shave.
I’m just waiting for the clever entrepreneur to produce a small attachement turning this thing into a real vibrator.

Glad you joined the campaign, and that despite your healthy cynicism the product has survived your bathroom and is allowed to stay ; ) How about the back trimmer (blade # 6 !), any use for that (I find it quite buzzable…) ?

My first vibrator was rabbit vibrator.
Rabbit vibrator is made from silicone and it has 8 rows of rotating reversible pearl beads.
It’s cool.
i think it’s a lot of fun to shave using a vibrating shaver…that’s just so clever….
been an avid fan of gillette for years…and i see a great innovation here with its vibrator thingy….
