Boris on stageToday I was a guest speaker at the Amsterdam Hogeshool. They are having an Entrepreneurial Information Week right now. We are very busy with Fleck so I didn’t want to leave the officre but I had commited to a speech a few weeks ago so felt I couldn’t cancel.

15 minutes before my scheduled talk I ran to the train en within 10 minutes I was at the Hogeschool. I did my thing for 30 minutes, took qurestions for 5 and the got a REAL elevator pitch on my way out. Very efficient…

Saving Patricks Privates

Yesterday me, Patrick and Arjen (and Hans Veldhuizen!) posed for a photo at IPAN. Just milliseconds before the photo was made I grabbed Patrick, ehm, somewhere. Good timing, as you can see!

Apple Store Closed?

Guido van Nispen persuaded me NOT to buy my new MacBook Pro in the US and smuggle it back to europe. He told me all the horror stories about his MacBook Pro and how he was so glad to have the waranty in The Netherlands so he coulde have it fixed, 3 times.

Today I went to the Apple Store ready to order my pimped up MacBook. I was all pumped up and full of adrenaline at the thought of actually ordering something there.

You can imagine my surprise when I read that the store was closed today…

Apple Store Closed...

This usually means that there are new products being added to the store.

Tonight: IPAN, The Sound of the Web

At 20:00 tonight there will be another IPAN meeting in the Mansion in Amsterdam. The subject is “The Sound of the Web” and we will have demos of several companies that do something with sound on the web. Paraplay (which I mentioned before) will be there too. If you are interested in music you should come (and become an IPAN member) too.
