Books

November 19th, 2006

On the flight from Amsterdam to New York I read jPod by Douglas Coupland. I have read all his books.

On the way back I’m going to read some in Richard Dawkins The God Delusion. Won’t finish it in one sitting because Patrick bought us sleeping pills which we will take after take off.

Shoeshine

November 19th, 2006

When I’m in the US or Engeland I always have my shoes polished. I would love to have them done in the Netherlands too but I wouldn’t know where. There are no shoe polishers in Amsterdam that I know of.

Right now I’m in a shoepolishers chair at JFK. A nic spanish lady is taking a lof of time to make my shoes beautiful and I love it.

New York Update

November 17th, 2006

Annotate me!The Fleck launch went very well. Read all about it on the Fleck blog. We are chilling out in the hotel today and answering our flooding inboxes.

We made lots and lots of photos yesterday at the Techcrunch party. You can find them here.

On our way…

November 17th, 2006

We are in a cab, in 4 white suits, on our way to the party. We are nervous like hell. Just walking through the lobby of the hotel was an adventure. Everybody HAD to look and cheer or laugh….

As the time left until the Techcrunch is slowly decreasing my nervousness is clearly increasing. There is a ton of work left to do on Fleck.com but I can’t find a suitable thing to do right now. So I’m browsing a few blogs and trying to relax. Won’t work…

But this is a fun site:

Upload a file and get another file in return.
No idea what you are getting.
Nice.
More uncertainty.
