Where to download Firefox 2.0? Here!

October 23rd, 2006

Maybe most of you already know but here is the link to Firefox 2.0. It’s just the public Firefox FTP server so no illegal or smart stuff going here. It’s just that I didn’t know where to look for FireFox 2.0 until BlueAce provided this link. So go and get it if you want to check it out:
Index of /pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/2.0

Fleck Extension Progress

October 23rd, 2006

Fleck Extension PreviewThe extension will be ready for a few user tests in a few days. I just posted a few details on the Fleck blog about it and asked if there are people interested in testing the extension. It won’t do much at this time but it will show me if there are incompatibilities or problems with installing.

If you are interested just contact me or post a comment here. You will need Firefox (any version) and some patience, and a back up of your important stuff just to be sure.

iMac on the toilet?

October 22nd, 2006

iMac on the toilet?.

What should I do with this old iMac? It’s not being used anymore but it still works fine. I want to place it in my toilet so guests can do something on it. What should the iMac do?

I could start a seperate Boris Toilet Blog where guests of my toilet can post something?
Or show a screensaver?
Or maybe I can find an art project which can be installed and displayed?

Any suggestions?

Wakoopa Contract. Photo by Boris

Last week we signed a contract with the founders of Wakoopa.com amd had to celebrate this with a glass of champagne. The photo shows (L to R) Patrick, Boris, Wouter and Robert.

Wouter and Robert will be working out of the Meganova office from now on and we will assist them in starting and launching their company. Meganova will own a minority share in Wakoopa.

Robert is the founder and editor of BlueAce.nl and Wouter publishes at UZY.nl.

Scrybe. Not Google, Microsoft or Apple

October 22nd, 2006

Scrybe is a beautiful example of how innovation always comes from the smaller companies. It isn’t going to be Microsoft or even Apple who will revolutionize the office software market but a small company who is going to re-invent the whole game, break all the rules and launch a product so revolutionary that we won’t understand how we could have lived without it…

Welcome to Scrybe

Long Tail Long Tail Long Tail Long Tail

October 21st, 2006

Long Tail Long Tail Long Tail

I know the Long Tail is cool but I don’t want to hear about it anymore. Every meeting I’m in people start asking questions about the Long Tail.

Two years ago a meeting wouldn’t be complete without the ‘tipping point’ question. Now we have the Long Tail Long Tail Long Tail Long Tail question.

Enough!
