Fleck Pizza Session

Fleck Pizza Session. Photo by Boris. The deadline for Fleck is quickly approaching and we are working hard to make it. This time ;-) Tonight we planned a Pizza Session at the office and invited some friends too. Patrick bought 26 36 beers which amounts to 6 beers a person. We just ordered 6 pizzas which should give us enough energy to go on for a...

MacBook Pro: tips for smuggling?

Apple released the new MacBook Pro today. My Powerbook is in fairly good shape but I bought it in 2003 so I wouldn't mind replacing it. I broke off two keys from the keyboard and lost a few screws. I also tried to close it once while something was stuck between the hinges and ever since it won't close properly. And at 1.25 Ghz with 1 GB memory and a 80 GB hd it isn't a speed deamon anymore. I complimented him on this elegant solution and he replied "Yeah, a nice white...

Quote from “Breakthrough”

Breakthrough (stories and strategies of radical innovation) is the book I'm reading now. Here is one quote that inspired me and made me think again. "Kroemers lemma: "the principal applications of any sufficiently new and innovative technology always have been and will continue to be applications created by that new technology" This means, as the authors Mark and Barbara Stefik write, that new technologies solve new problems....

Fleck Extension and Firefox 2.0!

See that? The new buttons are of different size. Not a big bug and surely something I can fix but it looks like I will now have to build and offer two extensions. One for everything below 2.0 with big buttons and another one for everything above 2.0 with smaller buttons. It would have been nice if Firefox would have detected the smaller of bigger image and scaled it to the right size. I wonder if from now on every Extension designer will offer two different versions of his...
