My daughter goes to school with the kids of the director of Boom Chicago and she invited me to come and see their new show titled “Me, MySpace and iPod“.

She knows what I do for a living and thought the show might be interesting for me. She even got me tickets for the premiere but I was in the US that day so I couldn’t go. Now we have tickets for monday november 20th. I have heard that it is a great show and actually very funny so I’m looking forward to seeing it.

The deadline for Fleck is quickly approaching and we are working hard to make it.

Tonight we planned a Pizza Session at the office and invited some friends too. Patrick bought 26 36 beers which amounts to 6 beers a person.

We just ordered 6 pizzas which should give us enough energy to go on for a while…

Apple released the new MacBook Pro today.

My Powerbook is in fairly good shape but I bought it in 2003 so I wouldn’t mind replacing it. I broke off two keys from the keyboard and lost a few screws. I also tried to close it once while something was stuck between the hinges and ever since it won’t close properly. And at 1.25 Ghz with 1 GB memory and a 80 GB hd it isn’t a speed deamon anymore.

As you can tell I’m giving myself an excellent excuse to buy the newest MacBook pro!

I just build me the perfect set-up (including a big harddisk, the maximum amount of memory, 2 extra power adapters and an Airplane adaptor) and buying it here seems to be 700 euros more expensive than buying it in the US.

And the US is where I happen to be in 4 weeks.

Soooo… who can give me some valuable tips on smuggling a brand new MacBook pro with me on the plane back?

It would be very nice if we could launch Fleck with an Extension for Explorer too. Who can help me with that?  All it has to do (for now) is get the current URL and post it to another URL. Shouldn’t be hard if you have build something for Explorer before.
