the Coca Cola bottle: I have been outbid!

October 17th, 2006

The current bid is more than $20. Who is willing to pay $5 for the chance to taste a 100 year old glasss of coke? If I can get 5 people to join me I’ll make another bid. The bottle contains 0.2L so I could divide it into small 0.02L cups which is just enough to get a taste.

eBay: 1905 - 1916 JACKSONVILLE FL COCA COLA “UNOPENED” BOTTLE (item 290039157763 end time Oct-19-06 18:34:22 PDT)

Count me in too. It’s the least thing I can do after misspelling your name twice. Besides, I like Coke and i’m pretty curious how it tastes after almost a hundred years!

Isn’t it true that Coca Cola used real cocaine in their drinks a long time ago? 100 years kind of sound like a long time to me..

@ Bram: you just made it even more interesting. Hopefully this bottle will pass the border…

Bram: we can always add the cocaine once it arrrives in Amsterdam. Would that justify the 5 euro per cup for you?

    Outbidded???!!!
    Let’s go for €10 p.p.

That would justify the coke too…
