Public Transport: yech!

My car needs to be checked and will spend a day at the garage. The garage is located far from the office so I decided to take the metro. I brought the following payments methods:

2 credit cards
2 pin passes
50 euro in bills
100 euro on chipknip

That should do it.

Nope.

Turns out that the only way to pay for the metro is with coins. And I only had 2 euro in coins with me.

The funny thing is you can only buy a ticket inside the metro so by the time you find out you can’t pay for the ticket it is too late. So now I’m in the metro without a valid ticket risking a fine.

UPDATE: made it to the office without getting caught.
