Hacked Digital Camera
The flash on most digital cameras is just too bright. But in most situations you do need a little extra light or you get hazy and unsharp photos.
My solution is a little tape and a yellow piece of paper. The little piece of paper is taped over the flashlight, almost completely blocking it. As you can see in the photo only a small slice of the flashlight is still visible.
I hope this will give me better looking photos. My first test photos did look a lot better. The yellow paper gives the photos a very natural yellow glow and a very diffused light.
