Lizards
there are a lot of small lizards near the house in France where I am staying right now. When I was a 2 year old we spent close to a year living in a small house with a large garden in Antibes, France. I used to catch lizards, and eat them. I also ate worms, snails and a small bird.
But I was young and I didn’t know better.
This morning I caught a small lizard. They are very fast and it is hard to catch them without hurting them so I don’t just grab them. If I see one I try to get in front of him and predict where he will go. Then I position my hand in its path and use my other hand to guide him. A lizard doesn’t see the difference between stone and hand so once he sets foot on your hand you can lift it.
This morning I caught a cute little lizard of about 5 centimeters long. The kids (there are 4 kids here) loved it and all wanted to hold him.
at one point the lizard walked up my arm, in my neck and then into my hair at the back of my head. And stopped moving.
I asked my mother to check what was going on and she cautiously liftes some hair. The lizard had curled up and closed it eyes and looked like it decided to take a nap there.
