On the beach today

I'll be on the beach all day for the strandvolleybal.net event in Wijk aan Zee. I'm in the IPAN team because I'm the chairman of IPAN. Tonight I hope to spend some more time on Searcle.com. The Droplet seems to work fine in Firefox but I haven't tested it in other browsers. New project: Droplets

Today I spend some time looking into Bookmark Droplets. These are small JavaScripts that you can bookmark and use to do interesting things in a page. I have an idea that I want to test so I'm building a service with it. The service I have build (it works!) let's you select any test on any page and then send the selected text including the URL and title of the page to a friend, in one click. I have been reading Wired magazine since 1996. Once I started reading it I couldn't stop. Now I collect them and try to get my collection complete. Old magazines are generally nothing more than nostalgic but old Wired articles are still interesting, even years later.
