Fuck?

I wasn't going to use the F word in my blog but I'm really busy with Fleck and Searcle and didn't have much time to post anything. Then I got forwarded this link. It's a short version of The Big Lebowski which is in my top 5 list of favorite movies of all time. The title of the movie is 'The fucking short version of The Big Lebowski'. If you enjoyed the movie go and watch this version too. If you are offended by the F word please ignore this...

On the beach today

I'll be on the beach all day for the strandvolleybal.net event in Wijk aan Zee. I'm in the IPAN team because I'm the chairman of IPAN. Tonight I hope to spend some more time on Searcle.com. The Droplet seems to work fine in Firefox but I haven't tested it in other browsers. The site isn't finished at all but if you try hard it should be possible to get an account, install the droplet and use the service. It won't be going in closed beta but will be open and developed live. So if you see...

New project: Droplets

Today I spend some time looking into Bookmark Droplets. These are small JavaScripts that you can bookmark and use to do interesting things in a page. I have an idea that I want to test so I'm building a service with it. Very convenient if you regularly send contacts a page url to check. If you want to help me test and...

Old magazines are generally nothing more than nostalgic but old Wired articles are still interesting, even years later. Often when I'm sitting somewhere, staring at the sky or seemingly doing nothing I think about a quote from Risto Linturi, the professional futurist for Noka, which I read years ago. A few minutes ago I picked a random old copy...

Flickr Blog post

So I just found our that Flickr lets me blog straight from their site. Very convenient. I wanted to use this photo as an illustration for my "How to deal with scheduling conflicts" blog but I don't know how to do that just yet... Aha, that seems to be a simple 'copy' and 'paste' action...

How to deal with scheduling conflicts – tip 3: Why forgetting is good!

I often forget things. I actually forget most things! Often, I don't even remember what I did yesterday. And I'm not sorry! The reason I don't remember a lot of things is because I'm not interested in some things. And for every thing I forget I remember a lot of other very important things. Lets say I would ask you, without looking at your calendar, what meetings you have next week. You might remember 3 meetings out of 6, right? And I assume that the meeting 'Talk about promotion',...
